The band of Las Torres de Cotillas continues with its program of free concerts to celebrate the 700th anniversary as mayorazgo of the municipality.
The next stop of this musical round will be tomorrow, Friday May 18 (21 hours), with a performance at the sports courts in the neighborhood of La Florida, where the Torrena group will offer a wide sample of their musical repertoire.
The next concert will be on May 19 (20 hours) in the park next to the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption of Los Pulpites.
The shift of La Loma will be on May 25 (21 hours), the neighborhood of Carmen on June 17 (21 hours) and San Pedro on June 30 (21 hours).
"This round of concerts, which will once again demonstrate the great level of our musicians, has already begun on May 1 at the La Cruz festivities," says Mayor Isabel María Zapata, who reports that this cycle of performances with free admission is organized by the Department of Culture and the association 'Friends of Music of Las Torres de Cotillas'.
This commemoration, which has the motto '1318-2018, from Qutiyyas to Las Torres de Cotillas', is already being worked by the local City Council.
"Various cultural proposals have been proposed, such as conferences and publications on local history, twinnings, concerts, exhibitions of Torreño artists ...", explains the mayor.
