The general director of the European Union, External Action and Cooperation, Manuel Pleguezuelo, today held a meeting with the mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas, Isabel Maria Zapata, and members of his government team, to whom he offered the advice of the Opportunities Unit of European Financing, dependent on the Ministry of the Presidency, to opt for the possibility of success to the calls for grants that the European Union offers to local entities.
Pleguezuelo explained that the City Council was interested in the program called 'Europe with citizens', which finances exchange activities and support for twinning between municipalities, as in the case of Las Torres de Cotillas with the French municipality of Firminy, with the who maintain exchanges in the educational field and want to advance in their relationship by carrying out cultural activities between them ".
