The Autonomous Community allocates 9,481 euros to finance actions for the reconciliation of work and family life, aimed at families in the municipality of Las Torres de Cotillas.

One of them is the municipality's summer school, which has 212 registered children.

The main objective of this project is to create a resource during the holiday periods in the municipality of Las Torres de Cotillas to favor and facilitate the reconciliation of personal and work life of people who work outside the home or perform occupational training, in times of school vacations, as well as favor the labor integration of those people with family responsibilities who are in search of employment.

The general director of Women and Equality of Opportunities, Alicia Barquero, visited today, along with the mayor of the municipality, Isabel María Zapata, this school and explained that "the General Directorate for Women and Equal Opportunities finances recreational and educational projects for periods not classes for children between 3 and 12 years old, among which is the extension of school hours, extracurricular activities and babysitting services or punctual care.

The regional government this year allocated 402,000 euros to subsidize directly to municipalities the implementation of municipal conciliation services.

Barquero said that "this line of subsidies is part of the regional government's strategy to promote female employability and self-employment in the Region of Murcia."

They are grants that are financed by 80 percent through the European Social Fund of the Region of Murcia for the period 2014-2020.

This type of resources facilitates the incorporation of women into the labor market, while allowing the youngest to enjoy leisure time in an inclusive environment and in which positive values ​​are transmitted.

The summer schools include outdoor sports activities and classroom activities, where all kinds of painting, theater, games, dance, reading and English workshops are framed.
