The Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, Adela Martínez-Cachá, visited on Thursday morning September 13 the IES 'La Florida' of Las Torres de Cotillas on the occasion of the start of the course at the Torreños public institutes.
Accompanied by the mayor of Torrena, Isabel María Zapata, and the general director of Educational Centers, Remedios Lajara, the counselor addressed the final year students of the center, who highlighted the importance of this year in their educational careers .
During his visit, Martínez-Cachá talked with teachers and students, and also took the opportunity to sign in the center's book.
An institute that began its journey in the 2011-12 academic year and which, among other aspects, is accessible for motorized people with disabilities.
"In this course the two public institutes of Las Torres de Cotillas, 'La Florida' and 'Salvador Sandoval', teach about 1,000 students from 12 to 18 years old in their classrooms," explains Zapata.
