Users of the Association of Families and Mentally Ill of Murcia (AFES) will continue to work collaboratively in the municipal library 'Rosa Contreras' of Las Torres de Cotillas.
Both institutions have renewed the collaboration agreement to maintain this link, with which these three members of AFES who receive attention in the center that the association has in the municipality will be able to continue with their work in these cultural facilities.
"They help in the day-to-day tasks of the library, such as the organization of books, the provision of material for the loan and the auxiliary tasks deemed necessary at any time by the person responsible for the service," says the mayor, Isabel María Zapata, who signed the extension of the agreement with the president of this entity, María Teresa Martínez.
A work that, in the words of the councilor, "is very useful because it helps them integrate into the social and working life of the municipality, offering them a tool that allows them to improve their illness and increase their quality of life."
