Next Sunday March 31 (11 hours) the Department of Physical Activity and Sports will organize next to the Divino Maestro school the "Sports in the park" day.
With the name of CodimaSport will take place in the park of the Constitution and will offer the possibility of participating in different urban sports: 3x3 basketball, goalball, mazaball, bum-ball, mini badminton, trochimoche, parkour, flag-football, petanque, psychomotor, adapted volleyball and baseball.
Attendance will be free and hundreds of people, both young and old, are expected to enjoy this healthy activity.
A perfect opportunity both to enjoy a healthy morning in family and to learn new sports without leaving the municipality.
Follow the path
A proposal that follows the path marked by the European project 'Do-U-Sport' developed in the municipality between 2017 and 2018. Its main objective was to explore the role of local authorities in the promotion of sport as an alternative leisure for all , fun and inclusive, encouraging the participation of people and organizations.
In this proposal Las Torres de Cotillas participated in collaboration with the municipalities of Tábua (Portugal) and Mielec (Poland).
