The best university athletes in the country paraded through the municipal sports center of Las Torres de Cotillas, as part of the interautonomic phase of the university championships in team sports.
It was the past Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21 of March, in a competition organized by the Superior Council of Sports with the collaboration of the Department of Physical Activity and Sports.
The participants were the universities of Murcia, UCAM, La Rioja, Castilla-La Mancha, Balearic Islands and San Jorge de Zaragoza, who competed in sports such as basketball, volleyball, handball, futsal, football and rugby.
A few days in which the public could enjoy free of authentic matches with future stars of their respective sports.
The venues of the matches were the natural grass field, the Mireia Belmonte pavilion and the municipal pavilion, both in the morning and afternoon.
It was not the first time that Las Torres de Cotillas is the venue for these championships, since it hosted the autonomic phase in 2016 and in 2018.
