The electoral board of the Mula area has decided to dismiss and file the complaint filed by Unidas Podemos against the mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas, Isabel María Zapata.
In it, the councilor was accused of preventing the use of the Cervantes school on April 22 to celebrate an electoral act of this political party.
In its resolution, the electoral board ruled that United Podemos Podemos first applied for the Tirso de Molina plaza to develop said activity.
A petition that was submitted after the deadline (it closed on April 2 and the application arrived on April 10), but that was still approved.
In addition, at the last minute he also requested the Cervantes school on the same date and time, before which the Electoral Board of Zona de Mula sent authorization email to the City of Las Torres de Cotillas at 13:40 hours on the same day of celebration.
Upon arriving 20 minutes before the end of the working day of the officials of the Torreño Consistory in Easter, no such authorization was known when the email was not reviewed at the last minute.
When the event was held, the Local Police did not proceed to open the school, since they were not informed by the City Council or the organizers showed the agents the authorization of the Regional Electoral Board or of any other type.
Finally, this act was carried out without incident in Tirso de Molina square, as it had been requested by Unidas Podemos from the beginning.

Faced with this situation, the electoral board has not appreciated "appearance of electoral or illegal criminal offense, without a glimpse of unfulfilled, rebellious or obstative will to compliance with the resolution by the mayor."
Therefore, unanimously decided to file the complaint.
