During July and August the summer school organized by the Department of Equality takes place in the CEIP Cervantes of Las Torres de Cotillas.
"A total of 245 registrations have been registered for children from 3 to 12 years old, which means that 157 families benefit from this recreational leisure and free time proposal that also offers a dining service", explains the mayor of Torreño, Joaquín Vela Fernández, who visited the facilities on the morning of last Thursday, July 18.
Developed by the company Cultural Actions, this school has a wide schedule of 7'30 to 16 hours.
"It is very important that the families of our people have this service that favors and facilitates the reconciliation of work and personal life of its members, especially during holiday periods", highlights the Councilor for Equality, María del Mar Ruiz Rosillo, who also participated in the visit.
"We want to thank CEIP Cervantes for their collaboration at all times for the good development of the service," stresses the mayor.
This is a public service co-financed by the City of Las Torres de Cotillas and the Department of Family and Equality (with 80% financing from the European Social Fund), as well as the payment of user fees for the service.
