The 2019 festivities of Las Torres de Cotillas continue to shed their program of activities with an intense rhythm and yesterday, Sunday, August 25, one of the most anticipated was celebrated.

In the middle of the afternoon, the popular Grand Prix began, which took place in a crowded portable bullring - installed on the Emisora's grounds - that hung the sign of no tickets with about 2,500 tickets sold.

Six teams participated in which the various festive rocks of the municipality were combined to face a set of tests that combined speed, cunning, strength and reflexes.

Finally, after a long time of effort of the participants and laughter, enthusiasm and applause from the public, the blue team was imposed, composed of members of the Los Parposos and L'Almazara clubs.

A full day

The little ones had two big dates to have a great time yesterday: in the morning at the Pedro Serna House of Culture, the Marimba Marionetas company represented the children's play puppet puppet Pulgarcita;

and in the afternoon, a large free children's playground with inflatables, paintball, circuit, mechanical bull, music took place on the Esplanade Maestro Don Ángel Palazón ...

In addition, the day had two more appointments: the traditional veteran soccer meeting, held at the Onofre Fernández Verdú municipal field and which concluded with a meal together;

and a day of coexistence celebrated by the Cabildo Superior de Cofradías in the Plaza Mayor, with food and the office of a Eucharist.
