The biggest torreños will learn new technologies for free The City Council of Las Torres de Cotillas has organized a course with several editions to be held at the Casa de la Cultura Pedro Serna (22/09/2019)

Next Tuesday, September 24, the free courses that the Department of Social Services and Seniors of Las Torres de Cotillas have organized are aimed at the elderly and will have several editions this year.

Its main objective is for students to make contact with the world of new technologies and learn to surf the Internet in a way that can be useful.

This first edition of the courses, held in the computer classroom of the Pedro Serna House of Culture, will feature morning hours (from 9.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.) and a second day on September 25.

"These actions have limited places, others will be carried out in October and November, and interested persons should go to the Municipal Social Services Center or call 968.624.220 and 968.624.125," said Councilwoman María del Mar Ruiz Rosillo.

"It is a proposal that was chosen in the participatory budgets and in which attendees will also be able to learn other digital utilities, such as handling the mobile phone or requesting an appointment in public organizations," says the mayor.
