This past weekend, the I Municipality Solidarity Fair was held in Las Torres de Cotillas, which took place in the Parque de la Constitución organized by the Bancal Direct Association and the Association for Recycling and Integration (AREIN), in collaboration with the local City Council.
This event, which began on Friday, September 20, wanted to give visibility to associations whose purpose is social welfare and the work they do.
During its three days of celebration - concluded Sunday, September 22 - cultural dissemination and entertainment were also promoted, for which local groups and groups carried out cultural and recreational activities, as well as activities for the little ones.
The mayor of Torreño, Joaquín Vela Fernández, visited this fair accompanied by several of his councilors, chatted with the representatives of the associations and was interested in his different tasks in the municipality.
With a vocation for continuity
"For the start-up of this fair, establishments and companies of our town collaborated," explained from the organization, who hope to expand participation in coming years.
"It is an event with a vocation for continuity, a place and a time when associations have also been able to obtain funds by selling advertising products and others made by them or donated," they say.
More than 10 associations participated in this fair, including the following: Women's Association for All, Brodguay Performing Arts Association, Puro Corazón Association, Pro Animal Tropa de Cotillas Association, El Edén Animal Sanctuary, Sherezade Color Esperanza Association, Direct of the Bancal, Project Life and AREIN.
