Faced with this atmosphere of alarm and with the commitment, obligation and hope to put order and solution to this state of affairs that fully affects the most elemental of the torreños, such as their health and their future, that is why the Group The Municipal People's Party requested once again in the Plenary session by videoconference on Monday the creation of the Special Commission against Covid-19 as a working body dedicated to contributing and launching all the actions to fight the pandemic that our town hall. Because the search for measures against the coronavirus should be everyone's task and that is why from the PP we do not understand the permanent and systematic refusal of the PSOE-Citizens Government Team to create this Commission, an attitude that they have once again demonstrated with their vote against socialists and "oranges" in the monthly Ordinary Plenary held yesterday Monday. Faced with the harsh trance that Las Torres de Cotillas is going through with this runaway increase in infections, we must all go together.
Faced with this drift from the critical health situation of the municipality, it is necessary to work in harmony, to lean on everyone without taking into account political differences.

The Torreños have no head for that repeated vote against the PSOE and Ciudadanos to carry out this Special Commission against Covid-19 that the Popular Party has been asking for since the very beginning of the pandemic and the state of alarm when our Group Municipal councilors, for the first time, presented this initiative in writing to the mayor that contains a package of proposals for the health, social and economic recovery of the town and then, after receiving no response from the first mayor, repeatedly in new petitions at the end of the last April. A first attempt that was left on deaf ears for two reasons: for the non-convening of an extraordinary plenary session requested by the PP and in the May session for the rejection of the PSOE and Citizens of the motion proposed by the 8 popular councilors. Thus, for the second time, PP brought to the vote a new motion in which it reiterated to give the urgent green light to this Special Commission that, as a useful and priority proposal to move our neighbors forward in this critical juncture, would be made up of all the political groups with representation in the town hall.
Because in the fight against the coronavirus, there is no need to skimp on will or means or collaboration. That is why, in its work as a municipality, from a constructive and responsible attitude and as the main political force of the opposition, the PP continues to demand the creation of this Special Commission on Covid-19 in which we can all join forces and help face solutions that mitigate the effects of this crisis of magnitude hitherto unprecedented in our country. Because the crucial objective of the Special Commission that we from the PP advocate to promote is so that all the political groups of the Local Corporation can contribute adequate initiatives against the coronavirus for all the torreños. It is time to start this Commission because it forces the general emergency situation that we are going through. The PP of Las Torres de Cotillas proposed that this Special Commission, based on its composition and operation in what is established in articles 69.3 and 70 of the Municipal Organic Regulation, have as the vertex of its interdisciplinary attributions the evaluation of the impact of Covid-19 on the locality, the monitoring of the measures adopted by the city council and other Administrations to combat this pandemic, the study, analysis, debate and management of the solutions that can serve -focused on its key strategy purpose- to the recovery of the population, and the periodic rendering of accounts to the neighbors on the progress and results achieved in this regard and in the full exercise of total transparency. function { ;(, , {});}
