The Social Center of the Elder People of Las Torres de Cotillas has hosted on the morning of Friday November 4 the "I Popular Games of the Region of Murcia," in which users of the center Torreño and those of Molina Of Segura and Alcantarilla.
An activity that has been attended by the Minister of Family and Equality, Violante Tomás, Mayor Torreño, Domingo Coronado, and the general director of People with Disabilities, Ana Guijarro.
This event, organized by the association "Messengers of Peace", aimed to put in value the popular games, such as bowling huertanos, among members of the collective of the Third Age and that users of the centers enjoy an entertaining activity .
"The participants have had a lot of fun and have put all their will and effort to do their best," explains Coronado, who along with Tomás and Guijarro has chatted with the players.
The event was also attended by the Councilor for Social Services Torrena, María Dolores Sánchez, and the regional coordinator of "Messengers of Peace," Carmelo Gomez.
