The Council of Equality of Las Torres de Cotillas has already prepared the programming of activities to commemorate in the municipality the "International Day Against Gender Violence," which is held every year on 25 November.
On that day the Department will set up an information table in the weekly market of the municipality and will distribute the commemorative lilac ties.
"We will also place a large lilac ribbon on the facade of the City Hall to remember this date," explains Equality Councilor Maria Dolores Sánchez.
And on Sunday 27 November will be held the "II March against gender violence" (10'30 hours) with departure for Adolfo Suarez Square and a tour adapted to all ages of 4.5 kilometers.
With the collaboration of the association "Jacaranda", the participants - who will receive a gift - can do it on skates or walking and has set a donation of two euros that will be used to raise the benefit of the Association of Men for Gender Equality ( AHIGE) and for the Network of Centers of Specialized Care for Women Victims of Gender Violence.
As a colophon two sports exhibitions will be held: one by parkour by Axel Dupre and another by freestyle skating by the "Roller Queen" school.
