The Councils of Physical Activity and Sports, and Urbanism of Las Torres de Cotillas is still immersed in the "Master Plan" of improvements and reforms in the Municipal Sports Center.
The latest actions have involved the placement of security cameras in the premises to control from the offices what happens in these municipal facilities, a system that is also connected with the Local Police to fight vandalism.
"To facilitate the training of our athletes have also painted three streets of athletics and another of skating on the track that surrounds the football field of artificial turf," says Councilman of Physical Activity and Sports, Ginés Pérez.
In addition, a musical circuit has been installed to accompany the sports activities both in the pavilion and in the outdoor sports areas.
"Soon work will begin on improving the lighting of the natural grass field and laying artificial turf on the soccer field 7," Perez said.
Other performances
A program of actions for which the proposals and collaboration of the clubs and sports associations of the locality were solicited, and whose objective is to improve the different facilities and municipal sports facilities.
"Other works that have already been completed are the collapse of the stands and changing rooms of the football field artificial grass, replaced temporarily by modules of changing rooms and portable stands until in a few months the final installation is placed," explains the mayor .
Other work has been the creation of a new skating rink filling the old swimming pools, the extension of the climbing wall, the installation of a new separating fence in the outdoor sports courts and the arrangement of the slope of the sports center with artificial turf.
Also planted palm trees and improving the terrace with the installation of various picnic tables and new trees.
