The center of attention to women victims of gender violence (CAVI) of Las Torres de Cotillas this week offered a new talk within its annual program of awareness and prevention against gender violence.
On this occasion he addressed the users of the Social Center for Older People of the town, who last Thursday 10 November had the opportunity to receive information on this initiative in which the Department of Equality of the municipality collaborates.
"This program will offer a total of 60 hours for this awareness raising work," explains the Councilor for Equality, Maria Dolores Sánchez, who attended this talk and addressed a few words to the participants.
The next talks will have as receivers to the residents in the children's center of the municipality (managed by the "Arcos del Castillo Foundation" and supervised by the Regional Government), professionals of the association "Columbares", etc.
Other activities
At present, the CAVI of Las Torres de Cotillas has other activities of awareness and prevention in the municipality, such as the campaigns of talks that it carries out in the educational centers: one, entitled "Me quiere, no Love me ... love ";
And another called "Counting and Speaking ...... .I go coeducando", addressed to students from 1 ° of Infant Education to 6 ° of Primary.
