This month of November has started in Las Torres de Cotillas a pioneering initiative in the Region of Murcia: a parkour workshop, which takes place Monday and Thursday from 18 to 19 hours in the facilities of the municipal sports center.
"In these initial sessions the response of the young Torreños, who demanded this activity a lot, has been very good and the workshop has more than 20 participants," says the Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports, Ginés Pérez, whose area collaborates in this initiative.
"This sport is an art of movement that allows to move freely through the environment, with a method of physical and mental training based on overcoming obstacles," explains the councilman, who emphasizes that "is one of the activities most requested by The youth of Las Torres de Cotillas ".
This activity is led by Axel Dupre, who has more than 10 years of experience in this discipline, is a graduate of CAFD and a master's degree in sports training and teaching.
