The City Council of Las Torres de Cotillas has issued a side of Mayor's Office to announce a comprehensive control campaign against two situations that annoy and anger the municipality: the speed of vehicles in the urban area and canine excrement on the public highway.

"This side wants to inform the neighbors of the measures we are going to take due to the importance of these two problems, and we ask them to cooperate with them," said Mayor Domingo Coronado.

"Every day we can see that there are vehicles that circulate faster than allowed in our town, with the corresponding danger to the traffic and the users of the public highway", explains Coronado.

For this reason, the Local Police will intensify in the municipality the controls to detect and punish this reckless behavior of some drivers, with the aim of eradicating it.

And with the "cacas" of the dogs also will be reinforced the control.

"Routine checks have been put in place to extinguish this behavior that causes so much discomfort among the neighborhood, applying the municipal ordinance that contemplates penalties of up to 750 euros for the owners of animals that fail to comply," said the mayor, who remembers that these attitudes also dislike And discomfort can end up posing a danger for the children who use the parks, gardens and green areas of the municipality.
