The Semana Santa 2017 of Las Torres de Cotillas has already begun with their passionate parades.
He did it on the afternoon of Sunday 2 April with his children's procession, which was held for the first time this year in the municipality.
Conceived exclusively for children under 16, this parade featured thrones and images representative of each Brotherhood, new elaboration and adapted to the size of small.
"It was a long awaited procession in the municipality, people have turned their back on it and we hope it will be the beginning of a long tradition in the Easter of Las Torres de Cotillas," says Councilor for Culture, Pedro Cabrera, who participated in The parade next to the mayor, Domingo Coronado.

A Holy Week 2017 - whose year is starring the image of the Virgin of the Dolores - that officially started a day earlier with the proclamation of Maria Dolores Molina in the Church of Our Lady of the Salceda.
The preacher, a member of the Brotherhood of the Holy Woman Veronica and the Holy Christ of the Fall celebrates her 50th anniversary this year, spoke in her speech about how she lives these celebrations as a family and how she transmits them to her children.
Molina emphasized how special the moments of dressing the images and arranging the thrones in the brotherhood, or those of the sound of the first drums.

An event organized by the Cabildo Superior de Cofradías de Las Torres de Cotillas in which also honored Ángeles Sola, president of the Confraternity of Christ Flagellation between 2012 and 2016, and this year has been designated as 'Nazarene of the Year'.
