The City Council of Las Torres de Cotillas has begun the works of integral renovation of the firm's avenue of Labor of the municipality.
"This avenue is one of the main access roads to various industrial estates in the municipality and for that reason virtually every day a large number of heavy vehicles pass through it," explains the City Maintenance Councilor, Inmaculada Fernández, who points out That "the asphalt began to show signs of deterioration and we decided to renew it".
"The work covers about 1,925 meters, in the stretch from the Florida roundabout to the intersection with Oltra Moltó Avenue," explains Fernandez, who explains that "these actions will entail the complete renewal of horizontal signage."
Nearly 143,000 euros
These tasks are part of the 'Regional Action Plan to Promote Works and Municipal Services' (PARDOS) and have an investment of about 143,000 euros, of which the regional government - through the Directorate General of Local Administration - will contribute 95%, that is to say, almost 136,000 euros. "With these works, with which we try to cause the least possible annoyance to the users of the avenue, it will reinforce the traffic safety", says the mayor.
