The Murciano Health Service (SMS) will implement a physiotherapy service in Las Torres de Cotillas.
This has been announced by his manager, Asensio López, in the visit he made on the morning of Wednesday, August 23 to the municipality and in which he has been accompanied by the mayor Torreño, Domingo Coronado.
"At present, our neighbors who need this service have to travel to Ceutí, which means spending more time and sometimes causes users not to go and lose treatment," says the first Torreño mayor.
A service that the City of Las Torres de Cotillas has already thought about where it can be located.
"After the transfer of the Primary Care Emergency Service (SUAP) to a municipal building ceded to the SMS, the space occupied in the Health Center has remained empty and is in perfect condition to host the physiotherapy service," says Coronado, Who has accompanied Lopez during his visit to these inactive consultations.

López, for his part, has indicated that it is very important to bring health services closer to the user and stressed that this project is being studied, which will soon become a reality.
The manager of the SMS has advanced that one of the alternatives is to combine the days of service of the personnel between Ceutí and Las Torres de Cotillas, distributing between the two centers the days of their working day.
In addition, Lopez has emphasized the important work being done in Las Torres de Cotillas in the prevention and awareness of healthy living habits, especially among the youngest.
