An ilicitano group will close with its 'Seven cries in the sea' the 'VI National Contest of Amateur Juan Bath Theater' (27/10/2017)

The 'Theater Company Under Construction' (Elche) will perform 'Seven Screams in the Sea' tomorrow, Saturday, October 28, as a closing ceremony of the 'VI National Contest of Amateur Theater Juan Baños' Las Torres de Cotillas.

A story that takes place on a transatlantic bound for South America, where eight first class passengers are invited to enjoy the Christmas Eve dinner at the captain's table.

He will reveal to you a fact that will change the destiny of their lives and that will allow us to see what they really are, with their miseries, their guilt and their truth.

This will be the fourth and last work in competition of this contest that has been represented in the House of Culture 'Pedro Serna' and is organized one more year for its area and the amateur theater group 'Tejuba' local.

Its closure will take place on Saturday, November 11 with the awarding of prizes, in an evening that will have free admission and with the representation out of competition by the 'Tejuba' of the play 'Don Juan Tenorio'.

This theatrical competition for amateur groups will distribute about 2,000 euros in prizes, distributed as follows: 1,000 euros and trophy for the best show;

200 euros and trofeorespectively for the best actor and actress;

100 euros and trophy for the best address;

and 100 euros and trofeorespectively for the best actress and supporting actor.

More works to contest

The group 'Taules Teatre' (Pinoso) was in charge of opening on Saturday October 7 the contest with the play 'El eunuco', a comedy by the Roman playwright Terencio, freely versioned to create a fun proposal with dialogues current, casual, gamberra and very funny.
