The 'Fundación Carmen Montero Medina' has made new donations of bibliographic material to the associations of Las Torres de Cotillas.
On this occasion the beneficiaries have been the 'Las Torres' and 'Puro Corazón' Commercial Area, who have received two packages of works by Carmen Montero, author of the aforementioned entity.
"They are representative samples of his literary work, as novels, works of aphorisms, stories and poems," says the mayor Isabel María Zapata, who has presided over both deliveries and emphasizes that "the foundation has already donated nearly 4,000 books to Torreñas groupings and teaching and neighborhood centers ".
The association 'Puro Corazón' (asociacionpurocorazon.wordpress.com) is an association founded in Las Torres de Cotillas for the care of people with mental, psychological and physical affections.
For its part, the 'Las Torres Commercial Area' brings together more than a hundred shops and professional services in the municipality.
It should be remembered that Carmen Montero is an Adoptive Daughter of Las Torres de Cotillas and her foundation organizes an annual poetry contest every year in the municipality that is now in its eighth edition.
