The 'School Sports Encounters' of Las Torres de Cotillas will hold its fifth edition tomorrow, Thursday, April 19 (9 hours), with the participation of five schools in the municipality.
"There will be about 500 secondary students from the IES 'La Florida' and 'Salvador Sandoval', and from the schools 'Susarte', 'Divino Maestro' and 'Monte Azahar' those who participate in this event that will take place at the sports center municipal and that it will be a great morning of sports coexistence ", explains the mayor Isabel María Zapata.
"It will be a multi-sporting event with many disciplines and we are very happy and proud that it will celebrate its fifth consecutive year of celebration", explains the Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports Ginés Pérez, whose area collaborates in the organization of the appointment with participating schools .
"I want to thank the institutes and schools for their involvement in this great event," says the mayor, who anticipates that all centers will receive a trophy for their participation.
The sports that will be disputed in the municipal facilities are the following: handball, basketball, chess, football-7, athletics with speed and long jump events, swimming, padbol, tennis, paddle tennis, petanque, racquetball, table tennis, volleyball , badminton, dance choreography, etc.
