The Department of Environment Cotillas Towers in the town has installed five new containers for domestic waste oil in various streets of the town.
These containers have been placed in the Catholic Kings Avenue, opposite the Municipal Auditorium, in the Plaza del Huertanica Moltó Oltra street (opposite the weekly market square) in the district of Carmen and Valencia Street, opposite the front door of the Center for Child Care "Titina."
These containers, which have been financed by the Cohesion Fund and the regional government, are added to the five already in place in 2008, located in the supermarket "More and More" in the pulpits, in the Municipal Sports Centre in Municipal Ecopark, in the supermarket "MaxiDía" and the Barrio del Carmen.
Benefits
The campaign for the collection of domestic waste oil for recycling allows for multiple benefits, including, among others, eliminate odors and domestic pipes jams, avoid polluting waste water treatment difficult, facilitate the reuse of water refined, reducing the likelihood of spread of organisms harmful to health or enhance the production of biofuel with low CO2 emissions with consequent reduction of energy dependence with the outside.
