The degree of provider satisfaction of the City approaches the remarkable Torreño (14/08/2012)

Almost remarkable.

That is the note that the City of Las Torres de Cotillas has taken in dealing with suppliers, after the survey that its Council of Management Control, Quality, Training and Internal Communications has carried out to probe the level of satisfaction municipal providers.

"The average rating was of 6'63 out of 10, on the one hand what makes us feel satisfied and the other pushes us to continue working to improve standards of quality, efficiency and effectiveness," says area councilor, Angel M .

Almela, who notes that "following the EFQM excellence model we wanted to know how to value our relations service providers outside the City."

To collect this information, the Consistory Torreño had sent to their suppliers (of the respondents over 20%) a satisfaction survey with questions focused on their views on issues such as how and deadlines established in the payment of invoices, accessibility to the City Council to discuss matters relating to administrative procedures for hiring, personal service contractors receive from municipal officials, information and conditions for contracting with local government and a general assessment of the supplier on the City Council.

Continue to improve

The majority of respondents consider such things as good or adequate information to make access to the contract with the City (63'16%), conditions and administrative requirements for recruitment (57'89%) or to address accessibility themes of the contract and its operation or work for the City Hall (52'63%).

"Also, it should be noted that all respondents considered good (68'42%) or very good (31'58%) received personal attention from staff," says Angel Almela, which recognizes that there are other aspects in to improve, as the form and time of payment.

"They are the worst value, since most people consider how inadequate (26'32%) or very inadequate (26'32%) and time as inadequate (36'84%) or very inadequate (21 '05%), "says Councilman Torreño.
