Students in 2nd Secondary School (ESO) IES n ° 2 Cotillas Towers in the final part of the recently finished school at a talk in which they could learn a little more about the European Union (EU).
Taught by the director of Foreign Affairs of the EU itself, Carmen Sandoval, this talk was part of the lecture series and cultural center focused on the relationship of this young institution.
During more than half an hour the youth speaker explained graphically, simple visual basic aspects of the functioning of the EU and the countries of the region, its official languages, its main institutions and officials, the values ​​it stands ...
But the most interesting for school children was undoubtedly the last, in which he spoke of the young and the European Union, and shown both educational possibilities of future work could be due to the mobility policy within Europe between the member countries.
They are also provided web addresses and internet portals interesting for them, with many proposals for youth with information about programs like Comenius, Leonardo and Erasmus.
Together with teachers and students from the center, this talk was attended by local councilors of Education, Pedro Cabrera, Social Services, Fine Almela, and Personnel, Lorena Lara.
A conference ended with surprises for all.
