Murcia Health Service (SMS) is considering the possibility of opening the next September a doctor in the neighborhood of La Florida Cotillas Towers that would engage the services of a doctor and a nurse.
In this context, the managing director of SMS, José Antonio Alarcon, visited on Friday August 2 this new facility, opened in 2011 - to see firsthand that qualify for this health post facility would download the already Torreño in the municipality: the central office Avenue Catholic Monarchs and other peripherals in the neighborhood of the pulpit.
"It is a magnificent center which already foresaw this possibility and, therefore, has the necessary infrastructure, such as consultations, waiting rooms, toilets and disabled access, etc.." "This expansion of medical service in our town is important because our population of nearly 22,000 residents, new health centers need to offer the service torreñas Torreño and deserve," said the mayor, who confirmed the transfer of Service Primary Care Emergency (PCES) of the municipality from the Health Center to Antonio Machado Street, specifically the old Social Services building (now located at City Hall).
