Center Senior Day Cotillas Towers opened last Friday 20 December to users of the "Association of Family and Mentally Ill Murcia" (AFES).
It was a morning session that targeted visitors learn from older traditions, folklore and culture through fun activities, establishing a meeting in which knowledge flowed from one to another in an entertaining way.
At this meeting, which was working the Department of Social Services Torrena, users visited every workshop AFES center, as-for example-the theater, crafts, dancing or singing along to enjoy sporting activities like bocce .
This activity was part of the intergenerational meetings organized by the Day Centre, which already had another appointment on Tuesday 26 November in which schoolchildren Torreño lived a day of interaction with their elders.
Recall that AFES account since 2003 with a day center in Cotillas Towers, next to the famous Park of the Issuer.
In these facilities your users receive all types of care, participate in rehabilitation programs, courses, workshops or occupational conduct diverse activities.
