Spreading the municipality of Las Torres de Cotillas the Christmas spirit and provide colorful and striking the streets of the town.
That is the main objective of the "I Contest and Lighting Christmas Ornaments in Facades" organized by the Department of Torrena Citizen Participation, which was presented on the morning of Friday December 5 by the area councilor, Isabel Franco.
This event will be open to all those who wish and whose home is located in the municipality of Las Torres de Cotillas.
"The participants, who will decorate with Christmas decorations and lighting facades, must register by sending an email to participacionciudadana@lastorresdecotillas.es, indicating name, address and phone, and attach a photo of decorated and illuminated façade," explains Franco which states that the registration period ends on December 22 and to choose the best criteria of creativity, originality and striking will continue.

The ornaments should be prepared and ready from December 23 until January 6, so that the light must be on during those days of 18-23 hours minimum for assessment by the jury, which shall consist of members municipal associations.
For the first prize (worth 150 euros) and the second (worth 100 euros) on account take the jury, while the third prize (worth 50 euros) the selection criteria will imposed by popular votes Facebook page of the City of Las Torres de Cotillas.
"The façade having the highest number of 'likes' before voting closes on January 6 is proclaimed winner" says Torrena mayor of Citizen Participation.
The decision of the jury will be communicated through social networks and the municipal Web, while the awards shall be notified to the three graceful participants.
