The Directorate General of Pensions, Assessment and Inclusion Programs Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS), under the Ministry of Health and Social Policy has allocated 19,367 euros for a social project aimed at the Roma population, and with which they have trained 15 young Cotillas Towers aged between 16 and 30 years, unemployed and with low educational attainment.
This action has been carried out in collaboration with the FSG and Social Services City of Las Torres de Cotillas and has allowed for the 'Course of skills for employment'.
The Director General of Pensions, Assessment and Inclusion Programs, who presented the diplomas of the course, said that this activity is framed in social intervention that his department runs with Roma in Las Torres de Cotillas.
The objective is to provide basic knowledge and skills to participants to promote their incorporation into the working world.
In total, there have been 30 training sessions with a duration of 120 hours.
Also, as noted Miralles, has done almost thirty individualized tutoring to offer solutions adapted to the needs of each of these young people.
The CEO recalled this initiative, implemented through the Service Inclusion Programs and Stewardship, runs under the Development Plan Roma promoted by the Ministry of Health.
The regional government, to carry out the development plan of the Roma, has a budget of 167,737 euros financed by the Ministry by 60 percent and 40 percent by the Community.
Miralles said that "it is working on eight projects specifically aimed at promotion, prevention of exclusion and social integration of Roma in the region."
