The Torreño Park Station opens its healthy circuits (30/03/2015)

The Issuer Park Towers Cotillas already has a clearly marked so that users enjoy this natural environment doing physical exercise in a controlled manner healthy circuits.

You set up by the Department of Sports and Environment in collaboration with the Shining Path association "Pilgrims" locally, are three clearly marked itineraries medium-low intensity with different lengths to go walking, running or cycling.

"We suggest, for example, take proper hydration stretch after exercise, sports wear and breathable clothing, avoid peak heat hours, avoid strenuous exercise after eating, gentle exercise every day and avoid a sedentary lifestyle" indicates the area councilor, Inmaculada Fernández.

Enhancing the environment

An environment the Park of the Issuer being promoted to the residents enjoy this natural recreation area.

At Christmas the "Tree Solidario" project carried out by the departments of Environment and Social Policy in collaboration with the "Group Scout Ithaca", allowed the planting of 700 trees in this environment.

"Now is a pleasure to go through these areas and see how these trees are slowly taking root, gaining strength and growing," says Fernandez.

In addition, earlier this year the Torreño installed wooden tables and benches, equipment with which you want to further encourage the use of these green areas because they can be used for example for family activities with children or to rest after walk or exercise for these lands.
