The group of amateur "Tejuba" theater of Las Torres de Cotillas, which this year celebrates its 50th anniversary, has already set two performances outside the borders of the municipality for the first quarter.
The first will be on Saturday March 11 at school, "Marist" of Cartagena, where for solidarity will stage one of the classics from his repertoire: "Revenge of Don Mendo" immortal work of Pedro Muñoz Seca, in the torreños representation with the participation of about 20 actors.
In addition, on Monday March 20 at the "Victoria Theatre" Blanca, where amateur actors represent torreños "The Arrest" at an event organized by the local council for the benefit of the brotherhoods of the municipality.
More than 40 people
The theater group "Tejuba" which met in 2016, is composed of amateur performers and has never stopped producing theater.
An activity which unites more than 40 people aged from one year to the seventies, because it has a large pool of players to ensure the continuity of this group.
In his repertoire include other pieces like "The House of Bernarda Alba", "The third word" or "Tenorio".
Founded by John Bath, this group has traveled all municipalities of the Region of Murcia, and other neighboring communities such as Almería, Albacete and Alicante.
In their repertoire you can find sketches, appetizers, classical theater and drama and mystery plays today.
