UPyD Murcia Region is understood that the Ministry of Education must provide explanations to the "incomprehensible" decision to grant a second line of two charter schools Cotillas Towers, to the detriment of the public school that doubled the number of applications for registration children aged three years, thus forcing parents to enroll their children in charter schools.
To UPyD, it is a grave dereliction of responsibility by the Ministry of Education, which violates the fundamental right of parents to their children can receive a public education.
To this end the Ministry is delegating to a subsidiary position to the public school, when it should be the other, a strategy that is clearly not isolated or limited to this specific case, but is spreading throughout the Autonomous Community, as We find similar situations in other municipalities.
UPyD considered justified and lawful demands of parents of AMPA Public School No. 6 of the towers, and hopes that the Ministry meets their demands and desist from an attitude that undermines public education and leads to their segregation in the education system .
