The City of Las Torres de Cotillas has opened the tender period for the implementation of the renovation of urban infrastructure and external lighting to achieve energy savings in the barrios of Los Vincent and The Barracks.
With a budget of 707,000 euros tender, this work will aid under the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability Torreño has allocated to the municipality.
Thus, renewed urban infrastructure-networks of drinking water and improved sewerage system, in the Guadalquivir River Street, River Jucar River Tagus, Velazquez, Picasso, Goya and Dali in the district of Los Vicentes.
For these works are planned to install a main pipe it stems from several points to form a mesh with the surrounding streets of an approximate length of 746'49 ml.
Separately, in the Las Barracks the works will affect the streets Spain, Del Sol, Luna and Portugal.
In the last quarter will also be made public lighting renovation building the demolition of sidewalks and driveway.
Energy Saving
On the other hand, looking to save energy and protect the environment will improve public lighting in the streets Vicente Medina, Emilia Pardo Bazán, Julian Andujar, St. James, Andrea Doria, Communards, Prince, Cardinal Cisneros, Juan de la Cierva, Isaac Peral , Oil Mill, Country and Antonio Machado by installing new lights of 100 watts to replace the existing 125-watt today.
"With these works is to improve the supply network and encourage energy conservation, improve the sewerage system, also improve road safety and promote energy conservation," said Councilwoman Torrena Urban, Yolanda Muñoz.
