Bringing functional diversity to the family, but especially to the little ones, giving visibility with a colloquial and simple language. That is the objective of the manual 'We are not so different', the work of Vicente Maciá that was presented on Monday, May 14 in the plenary hall of Las Torres de Cotillas Town Hall.
An act organized by the Department of Culture that was chaired by the head of the area, Pedro Cabrera, the author and the president of ADIS Lourdes Pérez.
Through its 5 protagonists -Carlos, Liang, Patty, Adwin and Bryan- the youngest of the house will be able, in an interactive way, to understand the disability.
"It is a manual to read as a family," says Cabrera, who emphasizes the interactivity of the work because "readers, especially the youngest ones, can be part of the comics since spaces have been designed to draw, make collage and thus understand in a very simple way the concepts referring to the different types of disability ".
