The City of Las Torres de Cotillas continues carrying out free activities of the program of actions aimed at prevention, monitoring and control of school absenteeism and reduction of school dropout.
"For a few weeks now, a school of parents has been running in various schools in the municipality," explains Mayor Isabel María Zapata.
"These workshops offer information to their participants about adolescence, the role of parents in the academic field of their children, the need to implement standards and limits in the home for education in autonomy, motivation and accompaniment," reports the Councilor for Social Services María Dolores Sánchez, whose area coordinates this program.
This proposal, funded by the Ministry of Education and Universities and the European Social Fund, began in March and will be held until next June in the IES 'Salvador Sandoval' and in the schools' Susarte ',' Divino Maestro 'and' Montezahar '.
