Follow the round of free concerts by the Las Torres de Cotillas music band to celebrate the 700th anniversary as mayorazgo of the municipality.
Tomorrow, Friday, May 25 (21 hours) Torreño musicians will perform at the neighborhood center 'Joaquín Fernández Vicente' of the hamlet Torreña de La Loma, offering a varied sample of their repertoire.
This round of concerts began on May 1 at the La Cruz festivities and continued on the night of Friday, May 18 with a performance on the sports courts of the La Florida neighborhood.
In addition, the local band also performed on May 19 in the park next to the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption of The Pulpites.
More concerts
This cycle of performances with free admission is organized by the Department of Culture and the association 'Friends of Music of Las Torres de Cotillas' and the following concerts will be in the neighborhood of Carmen on June 17 (21 hours) and in the San Pedro on June 30 (21 hours).
This commemoration, which has the motto '1318-2018, from Qutiyyas to Las Torres de Cotillas', is already being worked by the local City Council.
"Various cultural proposals have been proposed, such as conferences and publications on local history, twinnings, concerts, exhibitions of Torreño artists ...", explains the mayor Isabel María Zapata.
