The project of the Gypsy Development Plan, which is funded by the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities, through the IMAS, and by the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, has a total of 160 participants in Las Torres de Cotillas. .
The objectives of the program are to raise the educational and socio-occupational level of the Roma people in situation or risk of exclusion, as well as to promote integration and social incorporation through training.
This program has a total budget of 20,000 euros and is part of the National Strategy for the Inclusion of the Roma Population in Spain 2012-2020.
The Minister of Family and Equality of Opportunities, Violante Tomás, together with the mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas, Isabel María Zapata, today closed the actions of the Gypsy Development Plan in the municipality.
