The City of Las Torres de Cotillas held a great day of activities to celebrate the 'Environment Day' on Friday, June 1st.
It was another year in the Parque de la Constitución and an afternoon was prepared to enjoy with the whole family, where the most prominent players were the youngest.
"Various free proposals were made, such as recycling workshops, waste photocall, awareness activities on climate change, games and seasonal flower distribution," explains Mayor Isabel María Zapata.
"This journey is done year after year, within our annual program of activities, to raise awareness among our population about the importance of treating waste as it should, so as not to contribute to climate change, and thus protect the environment," explains councilor of the area Immaculate Fernandez, who attended the event and participated in the distribution of seasonal flowers.
