The University of Alicante Rugby was proclaimed winner of the tournament 'Murcia Seven' of this sport, which was played on Saturday June 2 in the municipal field of natural grass of Las Torres de Cotillas organized by the Rugby Federation of the Region of Murcia (FERRMUR).

The honor roll was completed by the University of Cartagena rugby club and the Club Universitario RugbyMurcia (CURM) and the Albacete Rugby Club CUDER-Rugby Women of Murcia.

The act of awarding trophies, which was held in the same municipal facilities, was chaired by the Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports Ginés Pérez.

"This tournament celebrated its eighth edition, a competition that has become the most important in the region and surroundings, receiving Murcian and foreign teams," the mayor points out.
