Participants in the program of 'Cleaning in open spaces and industrial facilities' that has been developed in recent months in Las Torres de Cotillas, which is subsidized by the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF) and co-financed by the European Social Fund , received their corresponding certificate of professionalism on Tuesday, June 5.
The event was chaired by the mayor of Torrena, Isabel María Zapata, and the director of the SEF, Alejandro Zamora.
In this workshop, after a theoretical period of three months, its 15 students performed street cleaning tasks in the municipality and its districts, emphasizing the vicinity of all schools, sports centers and districts.

"The regional government has granted us this year a total of seven training and employment programs, of which 62 unemployed will benefit, and who have a subsidy of 435,000 euros," says Zapata.
These initiatives are aimed primarily at the groups that find greater difficulties in accessing the labor market, such as the unemployed over 45 years of age, young people and the long-term unemployed.
In addition, in his visit Zamora met with the mayor to address ways of collaboration that serve to boost employment in the municipality.
The meeting also served to analyze the positive evolution of employment data in the town, where unemployment has decreased by 5.1% in the last year.
With regard to job creation, the number of Social Security affiliates has grown by 4.8%.
