The members of the youth team of level 1 of the club 'Ritmica Las Torres' have been proclaimed regional champions, after prevailing in the tournament held on Sunday May 27 in the pavilion 'Prince of Asturias' of Murcia.
"Our representatives signed a magnificent competition and demonstrated the great level of rhythmic gymnastics in Las Torres de Cotillas", indicates the Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports Ginés Pérez, who recalls that "with this achievement the team ascends to level 2, which is the national base category ".
A team that this season is achieving great sports results in our Region.
"In addition, in the regional league were gold in Alguazas, silver in Cartagena and bronze in Archena, some results that have earned them to be runners-up," reports the mayor.
Big results
Other achievements of the Torreñas this season made them be prophets in their homeland, since in the Torres de Cotillas tournament, level 1 juniors and school level juniors were bronze.
"The school-level youth team also won the silver medal in Santomera in February and the bronze medal in Yecla in March," says Pérez.
