As an aperitif to its patron saint festivities, the neighborhood of San Pedro de Las Torres de Cotillas celebrated its traditional "Encuentro de Auroros" on Sunday, June 24.
This event, which was in its seventh edition, had the participation of seven groups including the hostess, the bell of auroros 'Virgen del Rosario' Torrena.
In addition, those of 'Virgen del Rosario' by Javalí Viejo, 'Virgen del Rosario' of Santa Cruz, 'Virgen del Rosario' by Javalí Nuevo, 'Virgen de la Aurora' by Alcantarilla, Lorca and the Brotherhood of the Purísima Concepción de la Copa de Bullas.
The activity will begin at the very first hour of the morning with the singing of the Rosary of the Aurora in the esplanade of the hermitage of the Torrena neighborhood, which was the preamble of the celebration of a mass.
Then, the auroros participants toured the sites of the Torrena orchard carrying San Pedro and starring with their songs a day of coexistence and tradition, which did not lack the tasting of typical products of the Murcian garden.
