The peña 'Corner Pulpitero' has presented today Thursday, June 28 at the City of Las Torres de Cotillas its 'XXVI Cultural Week', in an act chaired by the local mayor, Isabel María Zapata.
This proposal will be held in the auditorium 'Juan Baño', will have free admission and start on Tuesday July 3 with the festival of folklore 'Elisa Toledo', which -among other acts- will proceed to the change of bands and imposition of badges to the godmothers and godparents of the torreña rock.
In addition, the journalist of 7 Television Region of Murcia Nazaret Navarro will be named godmother of honor and will act the 'El Celemín' rock, the Los Serranos family and the 'Virgen de Fátima' group of the host rock.
On Wednesday, July 4, it will be the turn of the 'Night with traditions', where the group of Zaraiche will perform, the group 'Delicias de Murcia' (from the 'Palmera Melón' peña) and the 'Alameda del Rincón' group (Andalusia) -with chorus and rondalla de la peña 'Rincon Pulpitero'.
In addition, the rociero of the year will be appointed and the 'Lanzarincón' prize will be awarded.
A night of varied rhythms is scheduled for Thursday July 5, with the participation of the artistic space 'Al Óleo' (Murcia) and the comparsas 'Guakara' (Murcia) and 'Timanfaya' (Las Torres de Cotillas), in addition to the delivery of the 'Golden Thimble'.
Two more days
On Friday, July 6, the 'Rincón Pulpitero' club proposes an evening with the performances of the groups 'Izel', 'Kimera' and 'Yemanyá', and Julia Torres and Tatiana Vicente, as well as surprises and competitions for the attending public.
And this 'Cultural Week' will conclude on Saturday July 7 with one of the most awaited nights by the small public: the one that will star in the 'CantaRincón', where its members will act accompanied by children's characters such as Elsa, Olaf, Peppa Pig, Monstruos SA ...
