The replacement of the fiber cement roof at the 'Vista Alegre' school in Las Torres de Cotillas, works promoted by the regional government and which have a deadline of two months have already begun. "The works are being carried out by specialized personnel, who at all times meet the stringent security measures of this type of work ", explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata, who visited the school with the Director General of Centers, Remedios Lajara, and the Councilor for Education, Pedro Cabrera
These works are added in the center to those made a few months ago to improve their electrical installation, which faced the growing improvements in lighting, technological resources and air conditioning had greater needs.
"In addition, in this center the toilets of the professors were reformed - creating one for the handicapped, of which it lacked - and those of Primary and Infantile Education, its foundation was reinforced and a playground was built in the Infantile zone", highlights Cabrera
"We work to make this kind of actions a reality, which cover the demands of the educational community of our municipality and improve the service of the centers," says Zapata, who stresses that this line of work is based on close collaboration with the regional government and the addresses and AMPAS of the centers.
