Our Lady of Fatima will be honored one more year with its traditional celebrations by the neighbors of the Los Pulpites neighborhood of Las Torres de Cotillas.
A patron saint festival that celebrates its 60th anniversary (1958-2018) and that begins next Monday, August 13, with two proposals: traditional children's games (20 hours) and a large foam party with minidisc (22:30 hours) .
The fairground, located in the park of the neighborhood in front of the gym, will host on Tuesday, August 14, an evening marked by traditional Murcian cuisine.
And it is that for dinner attendees can enjoy the festival of blood sausage (21:30 hours), with tasting of this sausage so typical of our region.
To accompany this banquet, the singer and showman José Damián will offer a performance also with free assistance (22:30 hours).
To finish off the festivities, Wednesday, August 15, will be a day dedicated entirely to the patron saint.
At 11 am there will be a Mass in honor of Our Lady of Fatima, which at 20:30 hours will star in the traditional procession - which will be attended by the mayor of Torrena, Isabel María Zapata - through the streets of the neighborhood.
At its conclusion, a large fireworks display will put an end to the festivities.
