We speak of an injection of money that has made possible in this time of decade and a half the development of productive, economic, business, industrial goods and logistics, services, equipment and public infrastructure as never before had our town known.
We are facing a reality that has strengthened the competitive advantages of this municipality Torreņo to attract new entrepreneurs and market deposits in industries even leading in its sector of activity as well as priority benefits derived from the Administration for the purpose of improvement and guarantee of the welfare levels of their neighbors.

In these fifteen years of constant progress the Consistory Torreņo has managed for the City the arrival of more than 150 million euros that, coming from other administrations of higher scope such as the autonomic, state and European, has served for the creation and maintenance of infrastructures and basic services for the use and enjoyment of the neighbors.
Since the current "popular" government team accessed the municipal government in 2003, the average investment in Las Torres de Cotillas coming from national, regional and European Union public funds is more than ten million euros per year. , realizing in this way projects designed in the field of works and services, educational, health, sports, welfare, cultural, social, neighborhood, leisure or entertainment, ... achievements fruit in addition to the negotiating and management capacity of the Executives Municipalities that have taken place in the course of these four recent legislatures.
An intense work rate aimed at positioning the locality in the levels of quality of life that its people deserve.
And this line is framed a new investment next to the 6 million euros that the Entity of Sanitation and Wastewater Treatment of the Region of Murcia (ESAMUR), attached to the regional government destined this year to carry out an important project to reduce the discharge of runoff water in episodes of torrential rain in urban areas of the municipality, an initiative that will materialize in the construction of a storm tank that will go next to the treatment plant in the town.
An infrastructure that will collect the surplus waters due to rain generated in episodes of storms for their subsequent purification, thus avoiding the punctual discharges to the Segura River of said waters and whose peak flows can not be assimilated by the aforementioned treatment plant.
We are talking about an action that, together with the collectors in full use in the municipal area, is also designed to avoid overflows of sanitation networks.
In short, a new economic contribution to continue creating quality infrastructure aimed at the welfare of the best heritage of a municipality like ours: those 21,341 men and women who inhabit it and provide it with its main strength and nerve for vitality and progress.
