Yesterday, Monday, August 13, the festivities in honor of Our Lady of Fatima, some celebrations that this year celebrate their 60th anniversary (1958-2018), started in Los Pulpites neighborhood of Las Torres de Cotillas.
The first day had two proposals: a traditional children's games at dusk and a big foam party with minidisco at night.
The fairground, located in the park of the neighborhood in front of the gym, will host today Tuesday, August 14, an evening marked by the traditional cuisine of Murcia.
And it is that for dinner attendees can enjoy the festival of blood sausage (21:30 hours), with tasting of this sausage so typical of our region.
To accompany this banquet, the singer and showman José Damián will offer a performance also with free assistance (22:30 hours).
To finish off the festivities, tomorrow, Wednesday, August 15, will be a day dedicated entirely to the patron saint.
At 11 am there will be a Mass in honor of Our Lady of Fatima, which at 20:30 hours will star in the traditional procession - which will be attended by the mayor of Torrena, Isabel María Zapata - through the streets of the neighborhood.
At its conclusion, a large fireworks display will put an end to the festivities.
